Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the design and testing of

·       Rubber O-rings; and

·       The housing and the materials of the rubber O-rings

for the sealing of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen used in hydrogen fueling stations.

 

This document addresses all operating and testing (temperature and pressure) conditions of rubber O-rings that may be experienced under the full range of fueling protocols including high flow heavy duty applications.

Status

Initiated in 2020. 1st Committee Draft anticipated by March 2022.
