Scope |
Part 1
This international standard specifies the quantity
characteristics of hydrogen fuel in order to assure uniformity of the
hydrogen product as produced and distributed for utilization in vehicular,
appliance or other fueling applications.
This
standard applies to all modes of transportation and hydrogen fueling
applications (ground, water, air and space). Part 2 This standard specifies
the quality characteristics of hydrogen fuel in order to ensure uniformity of
the hydrogen product as dispensed for utilization in proton exchange membrane
(PEM) fuel cell road vehicle systems. Part 3 This international
standard specifies the quantity characteristics of hydrogen fuel in order to
assure uniformity of the hydrogen product for utilization in stationary
proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell power systems.
This
standard applies when the supplier and the system manufacturer agree on the
hydrogen specification as described herein. This standard does not
apply in micro, portable and motive applications |
